Most R&F JWs give the same old babble speak. Any honest REASON is beyond the ability of R&F JWs. The reason is they are not allowed to have free thought or choice.

"Evil Slave" or Apostate which term do you prefer used on ex-JW's?
by booker-t ini hate both terms to describe ex-jws.
i know most people say "apostate" when they refer to an ex-jw that is an opposer now but some will say "so and so" is an "evil slave" now.
evil slave sounds so "boogie man under the bed" that i just laugh when i hear the term.

we have friends that are jws and we want to know how best to deal with them.
some are constantly giving us literature.

I can't resist posting this little bit of truth!
To answer the question, "Is this a site for active JWs or for ex JWs?" ....... This site has a lot of pros and cons and is a site for both the active and ex JWs. But mainly, people just like to bitch, moan and groan and never really help solve the WTB&TS problems. Some people have taken action in a court of law. The rest just give good lip service and vent on a tirade of useless shit! But at least they SEEM to feel better!

Bro. Schroeder dies

bro albert d schroeder died at 10:30 am new york time today at brooklyn bethel...he was 94 yrs old.. he was born on april 7, 1911 in saginaw, michigan and entered bethel service in 1932. he was appointed a member of the governing body on december 18, 1974. bro schroeder's life story appeared in the march 1, '88 wt pages 10-17: entitled: "my life in jehovah's spirit-directed organization.".
i don't know if the "today" means it was actually today...as i can't be sure when my friend received this news... but anyway, another of the old guys bites the dust.. .

I knew Brother Schroeder and several other GB members very well. Getting caught up in the whole power, control and cover your ass thing is exhausting and tiresome. It is time for the Governing Body of Elders to please show their credentials. What makes them and the various local Elders so special? Considering all of the problems that have surfaced and has come to light, everyone should demand to see the qualifications and the PROOF of such placement in leadership from GOD.
